On 23^rd June 2010 the vessel "Maria Laura Prem" was delivered by Sungdong Shipbuilding & marine Engineering Co. Ltd at Oshima shipyard.

The vessel, measuring 91.945,3 mt (dwt) on 14,725 mt, is owned by Augustea Atlantica SpA and chartered on a 10 years contract to Mercator, Lines of Singapore.

The delivery ceremony at Seoul was attended by Maria Laura Zagari (as Sponsor of Augustea Atlantica) and Mr. Michele Verde (as Shipping Manager of Augustea Atlantica), Mr. Byun, Moon Sung (as President of Sungdong) and Mr. Hong, Soon Ick (as vice President of Sungdong), amongst others.

At the christening ceremony Mrs. Maria Laura Zagari read a short message and successfully smashed the champagne across the bow of the vessel.

After the delivery ceremony a banquet was held and the attendees exchanged gifts to mark the event.
