Marco Giros was born in 1973 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2001 from the University of Naples. He joined Augustea in 2019 as a consultant for Management organization; in 2020 he became General Manager of the Technical Services company and eventually of the Transportation division. Before joining Augustea, he worked for more than 18 years in Astaldi S.p.A., one of the leading General Contractors worldwide for infrastructures construction. During his tenure he worked in different countries including Bolivia, Italy, and Bulgaria and spent the last 10 years in Poland as Country Manager, managing all technical, economical and organizational aspects of the Company's business in relation to some of the largest public infrastructural contracts in the Country under different EU financing schemes.
