The business is currently performed through three independent operating divisions:
Dry Bulk Shipping
Heavy Lift and Project Management - providing worldwide services to companies operating in the energy and oil industries, in the offshore construction field, in dredging and logistics, crane manufacturing, cable laying
Ship Management and Crewing - providing technical management services, including crewing, MHSQE, chartering, operation and post-fixing services. The main customer is a primary shipping company listed on Nasdaq.
Dry Bulk Shipping
Augustea Oceanbulk Maritime Malta Ltd is a leading maritime transportation company, part of the Augustea Group, whose legacy in the industry is over 70 years.
Established in 2007, AOM specialises in long-term charters, leveraging strategic partnerships with top Japanese shipowners like Nissen Kaiun Group. Operating a fleet primarily composed of leased vessels, AOM ensures reliable and high-quality shipping solutions across global trade routes.
Heavy Lift and Project Management
Since 1972, Augustea has been active in offshore towing, expanding in 1985 to operate semi-submersible barges. Over the years, it has evolved from a vessel provider to a turnkey supplier, integrating barges, tugs, engineering, and operational services worldwide. Today, it's fleet includes four Anchor Handling Tugs, five semi-submersible barges, and two flat-top ballastable barges. Augustea specializes in renewable T&I campaigns, offshore wind farms, Oil & Gas, ocean towage, salvage, and special operations, notably assisting in the 2021 Ever Given salvage. In partnership with others, it offers project management, engineering, and logistical solutions.
Ship Management and Crewing
Iblea Ship Management Ltd manages a diversified fleet of Post-panamax, Kamsarmax, Ultramax, Supramax, Coaster and Transhipment vessels. It's Technical Team manages dry dockings, regulatory compliance and retrofit installations. The Commercial Department offers real-time insights on freight, vessel sales, new buildings, and commodities. The Operations Department ensures efficient voyage execution through vessel monitoring, port coordination, and risk mitigation.
Augustea Ship Manning Philippines Inc. provides reliable, efficient, and high-quality crewing and ship management solutions, tailored to meet the evolving needs of the clients. The company also implements a Career Development Plan primarily aimed to the Cadets who are just beginning their careers at sea.
