Augustea operates on the traditional management and control model of the Italian legal system, with monitoring functions undertaken by the Board of Statutory Auditors.

Appointed by the ordinary Shareholders’ meeting for a term of three financial years, the Board of Statutory Auditors oversees the compliance with the law and the company’s by-laws and monitors the observance of the principles of correct administration, with a special care of the adequacy of the organizational, administrative and accounting structure adopted by the company and its functioning.

All members of the Board of Statutory Auditors, for a maximum of three effective plus two alternate auditors, must fulfill the requirements of respectability, competency and independence.
