On 14th March 2010 Augustea S.p.A. took delivery of the Azimuthal Stern Drive (ASD) tug named Capo Passero (former building C 94) built at the Rosetti Marino shipyard in Ravenna.
The vessels is equipped with azimuth-type propellers and is rated 4,500 BHP (equivalent to 3,300 kw) with a bollard pull certified by R.I.N.A. of 63 T and a maximum speed of 13 knots .
The tug offers an extreme manoeuvrability and carries a Fire Fighting FI.FI.1 equipment of the highest standard.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Lucio Zagari (Chairman of Augustea group), Pietrantonio Cafiero (Tug division COO) and Maurizio Pavesi (Augustea Group CFO) Lidia Cafiero, sponsor of the ship (delivered together to the ASD harbour tug called Capo Passero), successfully cut the champagne cord marking a wonderful moment.

Capo Passero will enforce Augustea's harbour tug fleet, representing the fulfilment of an investment programme started in 2004 and finalized to enlarge and renew the harbour and terminal tug fleet: the tug is sixth vessel with these characteristics delivered to Augustea by Rosetti Marino Shipyard from 2004 to 2010 and confirms again the long standing relations between the two companies.
